Vietnam is not a very big country but there are quite a few things to see and there is something suitable for all tastes. While the North is traditional and relatively green, the South part is more industrial and Western. Then of course the border is not completely clearly traced out and you will be able to find very typical/authentic spots in Southern Vietnam as well.
We were particularly curious to discover more about their practices, especially because we had never interviewed an all-inclusive resort and we were curious to know how they handle waste especially. …
We went there in 2014 when there were still very few reviews of it on the internet. Laguna Miramar was described as a pristine natural area situated not far from Palenque and San Cristobal (everything is relative of course). To get there , well no less than a day from Palenque, knowing that we had to go first to Ocosingo a small village located 2 hours drive from San Cristobal.
We decided to stop by Phong Nha Ke Bang for several reasons; the richness of its nature, the beauty of its landscapes and the many caves. It is in a limestone zone of 2,000 km2 in Vietnamese territory and borders another limestone zone of 2,000 km2 of Hin Namno in Laotian territory.
The Qbic hotel is a top new hotel in London. This budget hotel is also a green hotel. We stayed there 3 nights in March 2016. The management didn’t reply to my questions. Here is a review with the information we managed to find out of this well located hotel.
If you go to Vietnam, you must stop by Ninh Binh! The region is called the terrestrial “Halong Bay” for its splendid landscapes. Only 2 hours away from Hanoi by train, you could stay there 3-4 days easily without getting bored. We loved Ninh Binh province.
For those who don’t know where Nha Trang is or why we bring it a particular interest, well you need to know that as per Wikipedia: “Nha Trang is well-known for its beaches and scuba diving and has developed into a popular destination for international tourists, attracting large numbers of backpackers, as well as more affluent travelers on the south-east Asia circuit; it is already very popular with Vietnamese tourists, with Nha Trang Bay widely considered as among the world’s most beautiful bays”
January 2016, Denis surprised me with a trip to Brazil (I have the best boyfriend ever ). For a long time we aspired to travel to Rio and finally here we go! We didn’t have much time to prepare, but we did our best to combine ecology and tourism. The program was divided in 4 parts, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Chapada Diamantina and Praia Da forte.
